Top Ten Tuesday: Blue Book Covers

Top Ten Tuesday is a tag hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader GirlThis week's prompt is "April Showers".

I was unable to find more than three books with rain and/or umbrellas on the cover, which was my original idea, so instead I decided to go with blue covers!

These are alphabetized by author's last name, because why not, and all covers are linked to Goodreads.

Twice, by Mitch Albom

Genre: Magical Realism

Release Year: 2025

I haven't read this one yet! The only thing I've actually read by Mitch Albom is Tuesdays with Morrie, but I love that book, so I'm excited to pick this one up. I'm very intrigued by the concept.

Courting Mr. Lincoln, by Louis Bayard

Genre: Historical Fiction

Release Year: 2019

I loved this book, and I'm still not 100% sure why.

A Lady's Guide to Marvels and Misadventure, by Angela Bell

Genre: Historical Romance

Release Year: 2024

Another one from my TBR! I only just realized that this is sort of a retelling of The Nutcracker.

Bitterblue, by Kristin Cashore

Genre: Young Adult Fantasy

Release Year: 2012

This was probably my least favorite of the Graceling Realm series, just because it's so sad and dark. That doesn't mean it's any less good than the rest of the books, though!

The Power of Moments, by Chip and Dan Heath

Genre: Nonfiction

Release Year: 2017

I will happily read whatever Chip and Dan Heath want to write about. They are brilliant.

Aftertaste, by Daria Lavelle

Genre: Magical Realism

Release Year: 2025

I'm still not over this book.

Gossamer, by Lois Lowry

Genre: Middle Grade Fantasy

Release Year: 2006

It's been so long since I read this! I remember liking it, though.

Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six, by Lisa Unger

Genre: Thriller

Release Year: 2022

This was a fairly recent recommendation from my bestie. Hopefully putting it on this list will help me get to it sooner!

Swimming in a Sea of Stars, by Julie Wright

Genre: Young Adult

Release Year: 2023

This is the second time I've put this on a list without having read it, so I should really get to it soon!

Made You Up, by Francesca Zappia

Genre: Young Adult

Release Year: 2015

Eliza and Her Monsters is still my favorite Francesca Zappia book, but this one really stuck with me.

Have you read any of these? What are your favorite books with blue covers?

    1. It looks so interesting! And I think it's fairly short, too, so I have no excuse not to read it lol.

  2. I loved Lois Lowry’s books as a kid, but I never read any more of them as an adult. I should change that. Thank you for stopping by earlier.
